Each module includes assignments, quizzes and an activity report (no activity report in Module 4).<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Some of the learning standards in the PHE curriculum address topics that some students and their parents or guardians may feel more comfortable addressing at home. Please have your parents contact the teacher if they wish to discuss an alternative delivery.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>1. Activity Reports<\/h3>\n<p>This course requires four Activity Reports (80 hours total) over the course of four months. They must be submitted over time, not all at once. There can be special approval given for the course to be completed in less time, if the student has sufficient evidence of the required hours being completed in a shorter period. For instance, the student is in an intensive dance program or is competing in an individual sport\/competitive sports team. This requires pre-approval from the teacher and the teacher having validation from the student&#8217;s coach or program director.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Assignment Tasks<\/h3>\n<p>Assignment Tasks vary from Module to Module. In some sections you will be asked to respond to a video or written information in the form of a discussion. Other Modules include written assignment work that will assess your knowledge of the topic at hand.<br \/>\nMake sure that you review the criteria in the assignment files and that your work is in your own words. Written work that is copy and pasted and\/or paraphrased from the internet, AI, or another source is plagiarism and will result in a &#8220;0&#8221; grade being assigned to the report.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Module Breakdown<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Module 1- Physical Literacy<\/li>\n<li>Module 2- Social and Community Health<\/li>\n<li>Module 3- Healthy and Active Living<\/li>\n<li>Module 4- Healthy Sexual Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Module 5- Mental Well-Being<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Course Assessment<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>First Assignments (Start here! Module) 10%<\/li>\n<li>Modules Assignments and Quizzes 50%<\/li>\n<li>Activity Reports 40%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internet access is required\u00a0for this course as you will have to download and upload assignment files.<\/li>\n<li>A digital camera or video camera is required\u00a0to provide digital evidence of your participation in the
