In this course you will regularly set goals, plan, execute and then reflect on your process and progress.<\/p>\n<p>Skill development and knowledge require patience, repetition, perseverance, and consolidation. Both contribute to our physical and mental growth.<\/p>\n<p>This course consists of 8 units:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">Unit<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">Weight<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">1) Unit 1: Active Training in Sport Specific Skill Development<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">45%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">2) Unit 2: Active Training in Sport Specific Cross Training\/Conditioning<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">20%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">3) Unit 3: Competition\/Game Play Reflection<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">10%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">4) Unit 4: History of Specific Sport<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">5%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">5) Unit 5: Team Sport<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">5%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">6) Unit 6: Introduction to Mental Health and Sport<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">5%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">7) Unit 7: Stats and Analytics<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">5%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"312\">8) BIPOC or Indigenous Athlete Profile<\/td>\n<td width=\"312\">5%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE<\/strong> the following for activity monthly logging:<\/p>\n<p>Unit 1: Skill Development: At the grade 10 level, you must log 3 months of activities. You will aim for 5 hours of activity per week for 20 hours total per month. You must complete 60 hours of skill development in total.<\/p>\n<p>Unit 2: Cross Training &#8211; At the grade 10 level, you must submit 1 month of activities related to your cross training and conditioning.
