This course is designed for high level art students who are looking to develop their skills and attributes related to elite creation/performance in their art form, with the aim of specializing and/or training at higher levels.

High level creation/ performance requires a multi-faceted approach to training and development, including active participation in both an art form and knowledge construction.

In this course there are 7 main units.

Active training in Art Specific Skill Development (on going through entire course) 25% Monthly submission required

3 different parts

  • SMART goal for the month
  • Tracking/logging practice
  • Reflection – did you achieve your goal

Active training in Art Specific Physical and Mental Preparation (on going through entire course) 25% Monthly submission required

2 different parts

  • Tracking/logging Physical and Mental Training/practice
  • Monthly Reflection

Performance/Demonstration Reflections (on going through entire course) 20% 3-4 submission required

  • Performance or demonstration reflection (sharing our art) 3-4 submission required by end of the course
